Programs

Schools, religious groups, civic organizations and small groups have found the Eagle Conference Center to be a perfect facility to run a wide variety of programs. From week-long retreats and planning conferences to family reunions, the conference center is able to provide the facilities you require, all within close range to some of the Laurel Highlands most well-known attractions.

Council-Run Programs

The Eagle Conference Center hosts a variety of council-supported programs, including four Winter Weekends, Fishing Derby, College of Commissioner Science and the Order of the Arrow Winterfest.

Winter Weekends

Fishing Derby

Scouting Programs

The Eagle Conference Center is a perfect place to run a Scouting program. Units have used the conference center for leader retreats, youth planning conferences, high adventure shake-downs and as a staging area for attractions in the Laurel Highlands.

Fort Necessity National Battlefield

The battle at Fort Necessity in the summer of 1754 was the opening action of the French and Indian War. This war was a clash of British, French and American Indian cultures. It ended with the removal of French power from North America. The stage was set for the American Revolution. Fort Necessity offers a variety of programs for Scouts. Laurel Caverns

Pennsylvania’s largest cave, Laurel Caverns is located a short drive from Heritage. The cavern itself is situated beneath a 435 acre geological park. Laurel Caverns has excellent Scout activities including spelunking, climbing and rappelling. Visit the Laurel Caverns website here.

Nemacolin Woodlands

Ohiopyle State Park

Located at the southern reaches of the Laurel Ridge, Ohiopyle State Park encompasses 20,500 acres of rugged natural beauty and serves as the gateway to the Laurel Highlands.
